Includes only cruises for which there is a cruise log included
herein; fuel numbers are estimates. Obviously there were many
more overnighters and day trips which could have been included, but we were trying to give an impression of the cruising
opportunities in the area. We averaged about 2 gallons per mile with
the gasoline engines. Average speed was probably about 20 mph; we
did not have an instrument that measured our speed.
